First Tour of My New San Francisco Apartment!

I moved to San Francisco!

Now, I don’t have any furniture. Or decorations. Or much stuff.

But I do have an apartment. And it makes me happy.

So … welcome! Come on in!

And, if you have any tips on what I should do in San Francisco (or what I should do w/ my 4 1/2 year old daughter in San Francisco), please share below! :)

  • Gracie is so adorable - wanna gobble her up! Her hair is so soft and feathered back - little cutie! Nice place - love the private balcony, very cool. And I love that pink lamp! It's really cool to see 'your floor desk' ...though I know you've ordered a gorgeous desk... it's still cool to see someone whom I so admire letting me see that she's been working on the floor. How super groovy - your realness rocks!
  • :-) yes, there's nothing fancy here at the international headquarters of Potts Weinstein LLC ... except for a really awesome iMac. :)
  • Great place, It looks quite homey already..Your daughter is lovely and looks like she's got much of your energy and looks.
If you like my art I am willing to donate a painting but will not be offended if you do not find it suitable for your new place.
Thanks for letting us into your privacy.

  • Hrm... some plants, some art, a little more furniture you got it made!

You're right there in the thick of it too. Seems like half the people I know in the city (The Ci-tay) work right around the corner. Close to BART. Close to Ferry building. Walk to ball park. Baseball... in the afternoon... nothing better. (But only in the afternoon on weekdays)
  • Hilarious! Can I get your daughter to demonstrate my new bags and totes? I'm still having stage fright...
  • I love that you have almost no furniture, but you have a bunch of kick-butt technology including a sweet new stereo!
  • yes, you have to have #priorities ;-)
  • You need some artwork to go on your blank walls. I want to help. Pop me a DM on Twitter and I'll tell you what I have in mind :D Abundance coming your way!

I know it is touristy - but the pier with the sea lions is a lot of fun - and there is a carousel there and a very very cool aquarium where you walk "through" the fish in a big glass tunnel. I could do that over and over again. Exploratorum (now I'm wondering if I've got that right?) is a very well known, much talked about hands on science place - not sure about the age range.
But you don't need advice like that right? Just where is the best digging in the sand place!

PS. I really like your Hello Kitty purse - it is pretty and very useful too!

    Dear Gracie -
Thank you SO much for showing us your new home. Do you like it? You seem to like it a lot - just wait til your mom fills it with all the new furniture! I hope you have fun - there are lots of things to do in San Francisco and I know you and your mom like adventures!
    Hugs,
    Carolyn
  • *creepy, annoying mother-in-law voice* I just LOVE what you've done with the place!

I really like that desk. Very minimal and simplistic, totally dig it.

Also, I think Gracie should start her own video blog. It'll be a hit!
  • we do already own her domain name. ;-)
  • Teehee I like all the eyebrow lifts. :)

And yesss the light in the living room rocks! :D Gracie is the cutest thing ever, love how she "welcomes" us into your home. :)
  • giggle re eyebrow lifts. :)
