Wow, this video has been posted since last month. I'm just now seeing it, but the timing is SO right for me! I've been aware that I need to get away more often, and the value of 'small excursions' for just that purpose. Doesn't have to cost a small fortune to be a phenomenal experience.

Water & beautiful things inspire me. A change inspires me. I hadn't been excited about Las Vegas since the Luxor - and MUCH has happened since then! Quite a few times over. I became aware of CityCenter last week and it completely inspired me to get to Vegas ASAP! That definitely put Vegas on the short list of cool spots for me! :-) Can't wait see it!

Went out into the woods twice over the holiday while my mother was here - it was FAB-U-LOUS! I have a hurt foot and meant to sit and read my vampire book (both times) and let the rest of them go hiking around. I haven't been out to the 'big' woods in so long, though, that I absolutely couldn't resist 'the pull' - you know exactly what I mean! ;) So my foot is a bit sore, but, it was so worth it!

And you know what I realized when I was out there? The woods are my church. I've known this and even said this in the past - but, the other day when I was out there - I really, really felt. Pure delight and bliss, it was.

Yes! Travel. New surroundings. Being around people of a like mind that I communicate with online and then get to see in person. That is the coolest, most energizing thing and totally stirs me up. Glad I got to meet you in person in NYC. Hope to see you again. Definitely travel does it for me, and SD is so lovely. Torrey Pines Glider park is amazing at sunset.

Occassionally? Sure. Yeah, right. :-) Well, I feel kind of weird seeing all the female action here on the comments but I guess what stirs me up is returning to a city atmosphere every 2-3 months. The town that I currently live in Tennessee is a great town, but it just lacks that energy you refer to in the video. Where you can walk at 10 o'clock at night and be surrounded by others just sharing that same energy. A month ago it was Chicago, and I love Chicago (miss you Windy one!). But I think pretty much for me, going back to a city atmosphere, really kicks me to a higher level. Especially a place where FourSquare works (here it doesn't and kills me to see all these tweets on how people are able to connect using it). See you again soon! --Paul
