I used to think there was something wrong w/ me because I’m not motivated by money, that perhaps I had a limiting belief that needed fixed … but instead here’s what I’ve found about motivation, what I want out of life, and what I want to create with you.
Thanks for this, Elizabeth. I'm also not motivated by money, so it was so refreshing to hear someone else say this.
I'm motivated by interest and if I'm not interested in something, well good luck trying to get me to do it - it's like pulling teeth! I'm motivated by projects but it has to be projects that I choose and define. Money is nice and I'd like more of it but it's decidedly secondary for me.

Sounds great Elizabeth! I used to be a big traveler too, before marriage and the rest. Now I want to have the money to bring everybody along on all the cool trips I'm constantly planning in my head. I'm sure you'll reach your goals- Best, Lily
Did you pick up on the ethereal glow you have going on in this video. Especially when you are moving your hands around. One might think you orchestrated that!
;)

Thank you thank you, Elizabeth, for not giving a crap about a million dollars and for telling us! I too want experiences and connection. Some days I want a million dollars too, but it's not about the dollars, it's always about the kinds of experiences and connection and freedom that will be more possible -- it's a means, not an end. As you said (or maybe I just thought it), right now, in every moment, the essence of what is most important to me is in my life already. And more I pay attention to what is most important to me, the more I experience it moment to moment.
Thanks for the invitation to join you on your Live Your Truth journey -- whatever that turns out to be. I'm in!
You're welcome Bonnie, and I'm excited you joined us on the LYTP! And, one big realization for me was that many of the experiences & connections I want actually don't cost much money, if we're creative about it. :)
Ok, you've got me imagining now! I don't want to *be* on national TV...but I'd love knowing I helped someone *get* on national TV. I want a gardener and a chef service (you know, where they make healthy gourmet meals for you and put them in the fridge to heat up later.) I want to live by a river, where I can wade into the clear water and see minnows in the shallows, and hear the frogs at night. I want to visit all of the US National Parks. I want to go to Australia. I want to rent a huge beach house for a month and get my extended family to stay with us for part of the time. And/or go on a cruise with the whole family and be able to pay for it myself. I want to...think about this some more!
Ooo, visit all the U.S. National Parks, I want that too! And on my Galapagos Islands cruise trip I want to take my extended family, maybe charter an entire ship. Cool!
What about St. Thomas? You can learn how to swim there :)
I believe in creating memorable experiences too. I used to tell my friends all the time, shopping is not an experience for me. The stores are the same no matter what state you're in LOL. I would always write them long stories of my trips and they loved them.
Chris of AONC has the same philosophy of meeting other people who want to create such lifestyle without a million bucks. I'm sure you've probably heard of him, get him to interview for the Live Your Truth Project.
