  • Goal setting is the foundation of practice as a life coach while i think there is better place for the sportsmen in life as life coach
  • So I've updated my 5 ways to be, now they are: Leader, Visible Example, Uncomfortable, Sexy, Real

Really just a clarification on the language of the first two, specifically for how they are showing up in my life. #1 was "big shot" (which is leader + do-er in hand analysis) but since I'm all about the do-ing, what I really need to focus on each day is the "being a leader" energy. And I switched the second from "in the Spotlight" (a hand analysis gift marker) to be a Visible Example, because that's more of my role in my business empire & as in marketing, as an example of "living my truth" in a visible, documented, transparent way.

I've spent most of my morning stumbling across various sites, articles, etc. and landed here, courtesy of a friend's posting of your "Tony Robbins got transformational all over me" video.

And while I love me a good Tony Robbins recollection, THIS is the video out of all of yours that speaks to me. Thank you for this. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

And be prepared to see/hear more from me. :)
  • Elizabeth--

SO right on! Goal setting is the foundation of my practice as a life coach and I STILL don't steer people down that road to make changes if I feel they'd be better served just TAKING ACTION or simply by being present.

Sometimes goals get separated from what people want, and they're left thinking, "Great, one more thing to DO that's standing in the way of me getting things done!" It's backwards, but even I fall victim to it.

I love the daily questions. Thanks for "keeping it real" and pushing through your fears!
  • Love your video! A few months ago when I launched my Ustream show and my new product I realized that if I didn't have butterflies in my stomach I wasn't playing big enough. So I love that part of the video.

I see a big shift in you and it sounds like we all need to balance the money meeting and goal setting with what you're talking about in your video.

Also, love the real part. When I met you again in Vegas you were certainly real and that provides a huge ammount of trust.

    Continue rocking!!

  • Hi Elizabeth,

    FABULOUS video!

Bridging the "intellectual and woowoo" is THE key to a thriving business -- it takes both yet so many business owners focus on one or the other.

Thanks for speaking your truth and sharing it with us! Your sense of purpose and joie de vivre are not only visible, but soul inspiring!

Now I'm off to make that video and damn the chins! :-)

    Love and hugs,

    Sandy

  • Elizabeth,

Awesome video. We loved it. Thanks so much for it.

We liked very much the fact that the main points you stressed out are some of the very common practices of Tantra and it coincides with our vision of the Tantric way to success (http://tantricsuccess.blogspot.com/) - how to use these principles and practices to succeed in life, in entrepreneurship and business and in setting and fulfilling goals (that don't suck :-)

Your straightforward, simple, honest, clear message is fantastic.

    Keep it up ✔

    Hugs & Love,

  • I loved this video. I loved the information. And I loved you. Your ability to be real and send a message was powerful.
  • What a great title for this post! Oh so true at times. We are always looking for "the" answer or technique to help us accomplish more. Thanks for so openly sharing yours! We all have to find that certain technique to use that will work for us!
  • Elizabeth, fabulous! how do you do it? I can relate exactly. Appreciate the honesty and the realness. The 5 points are stellar - every woman's dilemma.
the wardrobe malfunction - I dont know but I see something blue - on the right - a blue bead? the Victoria secrets bra ???

  • Jennifer - you know, the best practice I have ever had in exercising my honesty/realness muscles is twitter. ;)
  • Love it Elizabeth! Your 5 points are awesome -- and you've inspired me to take a look and see how I can step up and out too. As one of my spiritual teachers, Barbara De Angelis, said to me recently -- It's time to stop looking for mentors to give us answers, it's time for us to step up and be the mentors. We have wisdom, passion and light to share -- and the time is now, everyone!
(OK - but bummer, I didn't catch the wardrobe malfunction!)
  • Carolyn - agreed, and especially for us as coaches/speakers, we need to find our personal message so we can share that truth w/ others!
  • Elizabeth, I love this video! Thank you thank you for being willing to be uncomfortable, step out and live and speak your truth. You put into words what I have been feeling for a while. I hereby go on record as accepting your invitation to BE what I need/want to be, in this moment, in every moment, today and every day. Thanks for the invitation!
BTW, I think you radiate all five of the things you said you want to BE in every moment. Thanks again, Bonnie
  • I can totally relate to your bigshot direction, and maybe that's why we've both joined Creating Fame? ;) I had a life purpose reading done by Annika Ek (from TrulyU, so thank you for introducing us through your contest!!) and I'm also on the path of needing to biggify myself and my message, and not being afraid to get uncomfortable.

Oh, and the whole connection/authentic thing is another one of my directions from my reading. I love how things have been transforming for you, and the YESes and everything. It's really inspiring me to open up too.

Actually, just today I found out that a co-op I asked to speak at will be scheduling my lecture for October. I'm so excited!

  • Nathalie - congrats on your co-op lecture, that's great! Yes, I agree, no wonder we are attracted to Creating Fame! :)
  • I love that you've been asking for help and getting a big ol YES! It's really amazing what happens when we step up and ask!

  • If you can figure out the wardrobe malfunction, you get an extra credit point. ;)
