not lame. fun (one of my original words that resonates, amazingly (or not) higher at Enlightenment which is one of my 4. Because I believe we find what we need at precisely the right time I'm not going to bemoan not seeing this until your BFF AllisonNazarian pointed me this way in her blog post today. I just read this post. I have to say it's totally amazing…definitely not lame. I admit to being a bit woo-woo, but I fall squarely within in the cerebral comfort zone. Unfortunately for me that's meant that reason have often won over intuition. I am indeed learning to live more in the moment and I have been happier. Thanks for sharing your truth…it's encouraging for the rest of us.

I'm picking out a small piece that resonated with me and I think is a valuable exercise. When I first started graduate school in art marketing, we were given a pile of adds to pick and share with the group. In succession, we all spoke about why we liked this or that ad. Some enjoyed the bold colors; others, the composition or sentiment conveyed.

By studying these ads, I realized what sparks me, what gets me alive and how I'm different than the rest. I understood myself through the visual; marketing, an intensely precise science founded on what makes humans aspire (and purchase), showed me my core values.

Pick up an image and study it. You'll see who you are after time.
