The #1 Most Important Thing re Video

Posted on 27. Jan, 2010 by Elizabeth Potts Weinstein in Videos

I get asked questions about making videos all the time.

What camera do I use, how do I set up the lighting, where should I shoot, where do I host the , how do I to edit, what software should I use, etc. ….

But that’s missing the point.

There’s one thing, one huge most important thing, that must be in your , or you are wasting your time.

If you’re interested in how to make videos, don’t forget to check out 4 Weeks to Video, my online tutorial program to teach you how to create videos that speak your & connect to your (a bunch of free bonuses on that page, too).

So what questions do you have about making videos? What has your experience been with ?

I’d love to hear from you!

  • What kind of camera did you use to shoot this? What did you edit it in ? What kind of makeup is that? :)

Yup- another fun video with a good message.
  • Funny Video! I too like making videos. I just included a video bio on one of the site I frequently visit.
It's GREAT fun and allows you to stand out in the crowd. Cause NOT everyone likes to video themselves. Thanks for doing this! ;)
  • Great video Elizabeth! People get waaaay to wrapped up in the details and forget that the most important thing is being themselves. Same is true for their websites, brochures, business cards, etc. - most businesses don't put their Personality into their Marketing!
  • Killer message Elizabeth, couldn't agree with you more! You make the video, always. You talk about being yourself in your videos and if you're not, people can easily tell. My experience with video has been awesome! It allows you to connect deeper with your viewers then a regular blog post and to some, it's just easier to consume.
  • The out takes remind me of what I do everytime the camera's light turns red. Good Stuff!!
